Spotlight on Standards
Standard Two
The operations of the RTO are quality assured.
Context
The RTO is ultimately responsible for ensuring quality training and assessment within their organisation and scope of registration, regardless of any third party arrangements where training and/or assessment is delivered on their behalf.
How Standard Two benefits:
Learners
- Learners are confident that the quality of training is monitored to ensure it meets their needs and the needs of employers.
Industry/Employers
- Industry and employers know that RTOs consider their current skilling needs when developing training programs.
Governments
- Governments have reduced risk, knowing they are investing in an RTO that manages quality in a systematic way.
Providers
- Providers use their resources efficiently by systematically measuring their actions against stakeholder expectations.

Be Work Smart
A practical booklet to help young people get and keep a job. The workbook uses real-life scenarios and self-testing quizzes to help young people identify and understand the skills and qualities that employers want.
If you are a student, you can work through the booklet by yourself or in class. Once you have completed the booklet you can get a signed certificate of completion to include in your resume.
Be work smart can also be used by registered training organisations (RTOs) and employers to highlight the key elements a successful worker demonstrates, supported by scenarios. The booklet can be used electronically, or as a printed hardcopy.
