Spotlight on Standards

Standard Three

The RTO issues, maintains and accepts AQF certification documentation in accordance with these Standards and provides access to learner records.

Context

To maintain the integrity and national recognition of training products, AQF certification must be consistent in presentation and RTOs must accept the certification issued by other RTOs. This is the purpose of nationally agreed requirements about the nature of certification content and presentation and maintenance. Learner needs should be met through timely issuance of AQF certification documentation and access to their records.
RTOs are not obliged to issue any certification that would be entirely comprised of units or modules completed at another RTO or RTOs.

Webinar - Graduate outcomes for VET: the missing piece of the total VET activity puzzle

The National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) is presenting a webinar that will provide an overview of the National Student Outcomes Survey.

This webinar will provide an overview of the National Student Outcomes Survey, insight into the findings from the expanded survey data, and guidance on how to use NCVER resources to explore the outcomes and experiences of VET graduates.
  • Date: Thursday 30 March 2017
  • Time: 1:00pm – 2:00pm

Not only is it different because of the industries, technologies and fields that are advancing and retreating, it is different for its perception of what leadership is and how to best foster it within an upcoming workforce that is more mobile and looking for the same mobility in their work.
